Rod has worked in the Management Consulting industry for over 26 years in a variety of leadership, operational, management, technical, support, project management and consulting roles. Rod has project managed and consulted on Business Resilience and Safety Management projects for over 135 organisations and 360 projects including: Department of Justice NSW, Corrective Services NSW, Juvenile Justice NSW, Attorney General’s NSW, Transport for NSW, State Records Authority NSW, Department of Education & Communities NSW, Telstra, Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu Australia, DCA Group, Thomson Legal and Regulatory, Omnilab Media Group, Ambience Entertainment, Amity Group, Australian College of Physical Education, Amnesty International, Nestle, Integral Energy, Coates Hire, Westlink M7, Hills M2 Motorway, Franklins Foods and many local councils. His experience includes Emergency Management, Physical Security Assessments, Crisis Management and Communications, Business Continuity Planning, IT Disaster Recovery Management and Information Security and Cyber incident response. Rod has undertaken extensive overseas consulting assignments in the USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, UK, New Zealand and Europe. He is a Certified Instructor and the Australia and New Zealand Country Representative for the Disaster Recovery Institute International (www.drii.org) and a representative of the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (www.pecb.com), and regularly teaches training courses in emergency management, resilience, security, continuity and disaster recovery.
Rod holds a Certified Business Continuity Practitioner (CBCP) qualification from the DRI and the MBCI from the Business Continuity Institute.
